Industrial electricians assembling a machinery system

The challenge

  • Several machine systems had to be assembled and electrically completed in parallel.
  • The internal electrical department was fully occupied with existing projects.
  • Electricians were required with experience in control cabinet wiring, sensors / actuators, EPLAN documentation, machine cabling, and I/O checks.
  • Delays would have put FAT dates and international delivery windows at risk.
Control cabinet assembly and machine wiring in mechanical engineering

Our approach

  • Before deployment started, circuit diagrams, cable routes, available control cabinet capacity, commissioning windows, and FAT dates were coordinated with electrical design and project management.
  • Only industrial electricians with experience in mechanical engineering, control cabinet assembly, EPLAN, machine wiring, and Siemens S7 environments were deployed.
  • The team was divided according to project areas: control cabinet assembly, field wiring, sensors, and final inspection.
  • Daily coordination covered wiring status, open error points, FAT preparation, and commissioning planning.

Measurable results

  • 5 industrial electricians made available within 7 days.
  • 12 machines electrically completed.
  • 100% of FAT dates met.

K.V. Maschinenbau was able to electrically complete several machinery projects in parallel without pulling internal teams away from other projects. The combination of rapid availability, experience in control cabinet assembly and structured support through to FAT acceptance was especially valuable.
