M.P. Anlagentechnik: industrial mechanics for conveyor technology and plant installation
Long-term support for the construction of an automated logistics system
- 8
- Industrial mechanics
- 12
- Days team build-up
- 4
- Months project duration
The challenge
- A new automated logistics centre had to be fully built within just a few months.
- The existing installation teams were unable to cover the additional construction sections in parallel.
- Mechanics were required with experience in conveyor technology, roller conveyors, lifting systems and mechanical plant installation.
- Delays would have shifted follow-on trades and commissioning phases.
Our approach
- Before the project started, amd coordinated construction sections, installation priorities, shift models and bottleneck areas with site management and project management.
- We provided experienced industrial mechanics with knowledge of logistics systems, large-scale plant installation and conveyor technology.
- The team was organised along the system structure across roller conveyors, lifting stations, safety areas and final installation.
- Project support continued with close coordination of installation progress, personnel demand, shift planning and schedule status.
Measurable results
- 8 industrial mechanics built up into a full team within 12 days.
- 4 months of continuous project support maintained throughout the full installation phase.
- 100% of installation sections completed on schedule.
Through long-term support in conveyor technology, M.P. Anlagentechnik was able to realise several construction sections in parallel and keep the overall project schedule stable. The continuous availability of a well-coordinated installation team with experience in large-scale plant and logistics construction was particularly effective.
